The UG and UMCG aim to make a significant and visible contribution to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). To make this impact visible, SDG labels are now being added to Pure. They are visible on the personal profile pages and overview pages of research units on the UG Research Portal.

In addition, it is 10 years since Pure was first launched. Reason enough for cake!

Join the Digital Cleanup Day and clean up your digital data in the week of 16 March 2024!
The Digital Cleanup Day is a yearly event to raise awareness about digital pollution. It encourages individuals and companies to take concrete action by cleaning up their digital data.

Digital Cleanup Day matters: since 2020 a yearly production of 3,169 tons of CO2 is prevented.

UMCG staff send thousands of e-mails every day, store thousands of files and submit tickets to the EPD. All these data require a lot of storage space. This is expensive and consumes a lot of energy.
