- Essential Science Indicators This link opens in a new windowScience performance statistics and trends data derived from the Web of Science
- SCImago Journal & Country Rank This link opens in a new windowQuality indicators for scholarly journals as well as for countries. SCImago can be considered as an alternative to both the Journal Citation Reports and the Essential Science Indicators. These are based on the Web of Science database, whereas SCImago is based on the Scopus database.
- CiteScore (Scopus) This link opens in a new windowCalculating CiteScore is simple and is based on the average citations received per document. CiteScore is the number of citations received by a journal in one year to documents published in the three previous years, divided by the number of documents indexed in Scopus published in those same three years.
- CWTS Journal Indicators This link opens in a new windowThis website is dedicated to the development, dissemination and discussion of journal indicators. The pioneeering one is the journal impact factor developed by Eugene Garfield at the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI). The Centre for Science and Technology Studies (CWTS) of Leiden University developed for Elsevier Scopus the source normalized impact per paper (SNIP, see Moed, 2009).
