De overeenkomst geldt voor 37 hybride en 3 volledig open access tijdschriften.
Gebruik de Journal Browser om te bepalen of er een deal beschikbaar is.
De volgende publicatietypen vallen binnen de overeenkomst: original research, edge, feature and concise articles, (critical) review articles, opinion and paper, perspective, communication, technical innovation and notes.

Hoe werkt het?

• Gebruik het emailadres van de eigen instelling!
• De auteur van een geaccepteerde publicatie krijgt een email met daarin een link naar het RSC licentie-systeem.
• Op deze pagina vind je alle informatie over de publicatie die bij het submitten is doorgegeven. Deze informatie kun je op dat moment niet wijzigen. Dat kan wel later in het correctieproces.
• Als je op ‘Start’ klikt, wordt je automatisch geïdentificeerd als een auteur van een instelling die een Read and Publish overeenkomt met RSC heeft. Dat gebeurt op basis van je institutionele email adres.
• Je komt dan op een pagina waarop je kunt kiezen voor ‘Standard publication’ of ‘Gold open access publication’. Kies hier voor ‘Gold open access publication’. Doe je dat per ongeluk niet, dan wordt je er in een pop-up op gewezen dat de universiteit de mogelijkheid voor open access publiceren zonder extra kosten voor je geregeld heeft. Op de pagina zie je bedragen; daar hoef je geen rekening mee te houden. Deze kosten komen te vervallen..
• In de volgende stap kun je kiezen uit twee Creative Commons Licenties (CC-BY of CC-BY-NC). Kies voor CC-BY.
• Vergeet niet om akkoord te gaan met de voorwaarden van de gekozen licentie.
• Je krijgt dan een bevestiging dat je instelling al betaald heeft voor de Author Processing Charges (APC).
• Daarna krijg je een overzichtspagina op je scherm met alle gegevens die je hebt verstrekt.
• Door te klikken op ‘Confirm and Finish’ rond je het proces af.

Publication types that are part of the agreement: original research, edge, feature and concise articles, (critical) review articles, opinion and paper, perspective, communication, technical innovation and notes.

How does it work?

• Use the email address of your own institution!
• The author of an accepted article will receive an email with a link to the RSC license system.
• On this page you will find all information about the publication that was submitted when submitting. You cannot change this information at this time. That is possible later in the production process.
• If you click on "Start", you will automatically be identified as an author of an institution that has a Read and Publish that corresponds to RSC. This is done based on your institutional email address.
• You will then be taken to a page on which you can choose either "Standard publication" or "Gold open access publication". Choose "Gold open access publication" here. If you don't, you will be informed in a pop-up that the university has arranged an open access publishing option for you at no extra cost. On the page you will see costs; you don't have to take these into account. These costs are waived.
• In the next step you can choose from two Creative Commons Licenses (CC-BY or CC-BY-NC). Choose CC-BY.
• Do not forget to agree to the terms of the chosen license.
• You will then receive a confirmation that your institution has already paid for the Article Processing Charges (APC).
• You will then see an overview page on your screen with all the information you have provided.
• You click on "Confirm and Finish" to complete the process
