• Zonder kosten publiceren in circa 1.850 hybride tijdschriften binnen het Springer OpenChoice programma.
• Gebruik de Journal Browser om te bepalen of er een deal beschikbaar is.
• Tijdschriften van Nature vallen BUITEN dit programma.
• De volgende publicatietypen vallen binnen de overeenkomst: original research articles, review articles, brief communication,  continuing education
• Er is een plafond m.b.t het aantal artikelen dat van de deal gebruik kan maken. Het plafond van 2025 bij LWW is 23 oktober bereikt. Vanaf nu zal de uitgever tot 1 januari 2026 de kosten (APC's) voor het open access publiceren direct bij de indienende auteur in rekening brengen Voor alternatieven, zie onze open access news item.

Hoe werkt het ?

• Kies na accepteren van het artikel in het uitklapmenu ‘Special Affiliation’ de instelling waaraan u verbonden bent en ga akkoord met de auteursrecht- en licentievoorwaarden.
• Selecteer University of Groningen, NIET het UMCG.  
• De gekozen instelling verifieert of u inderdaad verbonden bent.

• Publish in approx. 1.850 hybride journals within the Springer OpenChoice program at no cost.
• Use the Journal Browser to determine if a deal is available. Nature journals are not part of the deal.
• Publication types that are part of the agreement: original research articles, review articles, brief communication, continuing education.
• There is a cap on the number of articles that can make use of the deal. On October 23, the consortium article quota for 2025 with LWW has been reached. Please note that until January 2026, the publisher will invoice individual authors for the open access fees (the APC) of their accepted manuscript. For alternative routes, see our open access news blog.

How does it work ?

• At article acceptance, you will be asked to confirm your affiliation by choosing it in the “Special Affiliation” drop-down menu and agree to the open access copyright and license terms.
• Select the University of Groningen, NOT the UMCG.
• The selected institute will verify your affiliation.
