Publish open access without costs in the Journal of Medical Microbiology

How does it work 

Submission

1. Corresponding author provides eligibility for their institutional agreement (Publish and Read or S2O subscription).
2. Affiliation and institutional email entered into submission details and provided on manuscript title page.
3. Select ‘Yes’ in response to ‘Do you wish to publish Open Access?’ question.
4. Click ‘View Publication Charges’ to confirm eligibility.

Acceptance

1. Upon acceptance, the corresponding author receives an email with a link to request funding from their institution, with touch free profiles this is sent automatically.
2. The library admin will then receive an email request to approve funding under the institutional agreement.
3. This may be given automatically if the institution’s profile is set to ‘auto approval’

Production and publication

1. Corresponding author receives an email confirming article is covered by an institutional agreement.
